Spring has sprung! And yes, that means wedding season is back in full swing. We kicked back into gear the other week hanging out with Erin & David for their big day. And what a lovely way to spend that day, Erin & David are two of the most down to earth, humble human beings you could hope to come across.
They followed up their ceremony at Floreat Uniting church with a beautiful afternoon tea for their guests. It was a nice change from the usual hustling folks for group and family photos straight after heir ceremony, instead everyone had time to chill, catch up and generally just shoot the breeze.
Once all the official stuff was done and dusted the bridal party headed on down to Bold Hill park. I stole Erin & David off for a wander through the bushland around Camel Lake. It's such a good spot, it's never busy like so many other popular 'wedding photo' spots around Perth. And that's just what we want, an easy relaxed space with no hassles.
We had a quick stop off at Lake Jualbup in Shenton Park. It was an 11th hour request from Erin to stop by here for a few photos however there is some history here in that she grew up in the area so it's a place that's close to her heart.
Then it was onwards to Acqua Viva On The Swan to get the party started. And party they did!
I'd have to say the highlight of the evening (though David might not agree!) was the roasting David copped during his brother's speech for his history of various hairstyles down the years. But then you should see my first passport photo, I'm definitely not in any position to judge, haha. Nonetheless it was all in good humour and seems it was enjoyed by all present.
After that the dance floor went live and well, as the saying goes the rest is history. Good times had by all.
Congrats Erin & David, hope your wedding was everything you hoped it would be. Looks to me like you had a blast!
And Thank You for having us on board for the day, was super awesome to be a part of it.
